PROJECT DANDELION AT
SKOLL WORLD FORUM

This April, Project Dandelion returns to the Skoll World Forum in Oxford - a space where ideas meet, movements align, and coalitions form. We join to ensure women leading climate solutions are not only in the room, but visible, connected, and supported.

In partnership with the Skoll Foundation, we are convening a women-led delegation of Global South leaders whose work is driving real-world solutions across climate adaptation, health, conservation, food systems, and girls’ education. Leaders that are shifting systems, influencing policy and mobilizing communities.

CONNECT

Our work in climate is the thread that connects us all, and we want to make that visible. Dandelions are spreading around the world, advancing and championing solutions.

This is our opportunity to welcome women leaders to a community by supporting each other in our work, amplifying our voices, and connecting and making ourselves visible through wearing the Dandelion pin.

OUR OBJECTIVES FOR SKOLL WORLD FORUM

Proximity-based design

Beginning with listening and co-design alongside community leaders, ensuring learning is shaped by lived experience.

Collective learning across contexts

Convening peer-led exchanges that allow for comparison and relatability of how they navigate similar risks in different environments, without flattening cultural, ecological, or social differences.

Elevating what it means to be a Dandelion

Each Dandelion marks a leader working to shift systems, influence policy, mobilize communities or transform industries to drive meaningful climate action. By spreading our seeds beyond our existing networks, we aim to expand and strengthen an already powerful community driving women-led climate solutions across the globe.

Dandelion Community Growth

Our work in climate is the thread that connects us all and we want to make that visibility. Dandelions are spread around the world, advancing and championing solutions. This is our opportunity to welcome women leaders to a community supporting each other in our work, amplifying our voices, and connecting and mobilizing through action.

Sensemaking with care

Supporting reflection and synthesis that surface patterns, trade-offs, and lessons over time. Using the symbol of the Dandelion to support collectivism, we help translate proximity into shared understanding and shared understanding into more thoughtful, context-aware action.
