PROJECT DANDELION AT SKOLL WORLD FORUM
DESIGNING THE GENDER-CLIMATE PACKAGE FOR COP31 & BEYOND
Invite only. This roundtable at Women Deliver will convene civil society, governments, multilateral funds, companies, philanthropies, and NGOs to collectively outline a “package” of priorities and proposals to advance gender-responsive climate finance and resourcing ahead of COP31.
TIME & LOCATION
Apr 29, 2026, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM GMT+10
Melbourne Convention Centre Room 104, Convention Centre Pl, South Wharf VIC 3006, Australia
The session will focus on solutions to significantly increase the quantity, quality, and accessibility of climate finance and other resources for the spectrum of women in climate action: women’s and women’s rights organizations, women entrepreneurs, and women food producers, among others. These solutions – spanning policy, practice, tech, and public and private sector financing mechanisms – can then potentially inform mobilization leading up to COP31 and the longer arc to COP33, where parties will respond to the Global Stocktake of Paris Agreement implementation.
The session is also intended to discuss the prioritization and viability of different gender-climate goals given the seismic shifts in international public finance for both gender and climate since 2025.The roundtable will produce a non-attributed summary of potential deliverables for COP31-33 and related finance fora.
